THREE WISE MEN
The Bible talks about the THREE WISE MEN who came from far away, to give PRECIOUS GIFTS to the baby Jesus. This ACT OF FAITH to celebrate the birth of Christ has demonstrated an example to believers today to do the same.
A TRUST FUND FOR JESUS
There was a reason why God guided the THREE WISE MEN to the baby Jesus. Bringing VALUABLE and PRECIOUS GIFTS for JESUS.
God knew he could not care for Jesus physically, as an earth father. So he had Joseph act as a Step-Father in his place. He also realized Joseph was not a rich man and knew when Jesus became an adult, he would be too busy to acquire money for food, clothing and lodging. So God had the wealthy wise men give gifts, which could be traded or sold. God knew Joseph was a wise man who would wisely invest this small fortune for Jesus. So that it would multiply and be there for Jesus, when he became an adult.
This is how God, through the WISE MEN and JOSEPH established what today would be called a TRUST FUND for his son.
Joseph spent a small portion on Mary and Jesus, so they could survive during their exile. When they returned home, Joseph wisely invested another portion in a carpentry and masonry business. As a skilled carpenter and mason, with his own business he could expand the trust fund for Jesus. Back then, like today, a carpenter and mason with his own business could make a good living and be financially secure. This trust fund and the business, would allow Jesus to fulfill his purpose.
Today, believers act as WISE MEN and WOMEN when they donate money to Gods Ministries, which in turn helps them do his works. In the same way the WISE MEN gave to Joseph and Mary, you too can help by providing financial help. This is because many ministers give up careers and even families to do Gods works, they need financial help to spread the Gospel throughout the world.
